Hey there! 👋

So how do you properly analyze a pulse survey?

There is now an entire section of analytics dedicated to pulse surveys. Let's see how this can help you!

Accessing Pulse Analytics

You can access Pulse Analytics by clicking on the Answers button in your active or finished pulse surveys.

There you set the data to show up as you like in order to analyze it.

The first thing you will see will be this box where you can choose the pulse survey editions and the time period you want to analyze. You can select which edition you would want to analyze, and then you can see the number of answers and scores for each edition. This is useful for identifying problems related to a specific period of time. You can also filter those results by the last quarter of results or the last year.

You will also be able to analyze the score through all the editions of that pulse survey. Pulse Surveys will assess different indicators according to what you want to evaluate. You can check the value for each edition, in this case, each month, and properly assess that data. You can also see how that data evolves through time.

When analyzing multiple-choice questions, you will also be able to evaluate how the responses evolve over time. You can see the results for each choice over time and see if you identify certain patterns and issues related to those answers. You can always filter the results by pressing the button on the upper right corner. Select which editions you wish to analyze.

In a scale type answer, you will also be able to see how results evolve over time and you can also filter through editions of that pulse survey to seek specific results. It will show all the answers for each option, according to the filter you set, along with a graphic showing the average score in each edition.

Comment based answers will also show up in the format presented. You can see all comments and answers given by everyone. They can be related to someone or they can be anonymous, depending on how you choose to present your pulse survey. You can this type of answer to have a more clear opinion of your employees about certain issues and problems.

You can also access mood analytics and see how the overall feelings about the organization reflect trough time. For each emotion, you will have the exact number of answers. You will be able to evaluate which emotion reflects as the strongest throughout your organization.
